Królowa Woda is a Rest Center situated about 2km from Augustów. It is surrounded by large forest (Puszcza Augustowska) and clear, deep lake (SAJNO). Lake has an area of 523 ha, and a dep of 28m. There is a lot of fish in the lake: breams, roaches, perches, pikes, eels. Sajno Lake is sourrounded by lush flora and great  pine forests full of mushrooms. Fresh air will help you to relax and spend your free time in a pleasant way. It is the best way to get to know a true, unpolluted nature around us!
A tourist has the opportunity to learn about the history and culture of the region in the Museum of Augustów Region, which also has the Section of the History of the Augustów Canal. July 31th you can take part in the contest: “Sailing on what you want”. During the vacations time annual festivals are organized, along with international competitions in water-ski jumping, canoe races, and sailing regattas. There will be a lot of attractions for you, your family,and your friends.
